Share Information Over Network

WinPIM gives you an easy and low cost network solution for sharing your Contact, Diary, Calendar, Task, and Note simultaneously with everyone in your workgroup!

• Share Contact, Diary, Calendar, Task, and Note over the network.
• Users can login the same shared data folder with the same or different user ID with different  access.
• Each user can set their own private items in the shared data folder.
• Different users can create different data folders.

Share Information Over LAN

There are 2 ways to share share WinPIM information over your network.

Share information over peer-to-peer (P2P) network

This method does NOT need a server. In the user login window, you can set the user data location to a network folder, then you can login the same way you would login as a local user. Several people can login as the same user at the same time. Press F5 to refresh the information.

For example:
a) In 'ComputerA', in winpim login window, set the winpim data folder location as 'C:\My documents\wpdata', then create a new user and login.
b) In 'ComputerA's Winodws Explorer, share 'c:\my documents\wpdata' folder as Full Access.
c) In 'ComputerB', set the User location as '\\ComputerA\c\my documents\wpfolder' and choose the user to login.

WinPIM Data Server
