Tags

 

Tags are an optional way for you to browse or search for notes based upon keywords in those notes.

 

What can I do with tags?

 

Tags are good to use when a note might apply to more than one category or when you want to filter results in a certain notebook by a keyword. You might use tags to associate notes with categories, memories or locations. For example:

Research: add a tag for the relevant company or project

Recipes: add tags to identify the type of recipe (soup, dinner, pasta)

Project management: add a tag to identify the project status (active, next, completed) or to the spec number or feature (9984 or fr9984)

Recruiting: add a tag for the location of a position (nyc, tokyo) or the hiring manager (jfk, mll)

 

Add tags

Open the note you wish to tag

On the top of the note, Click Tag

Type to add your tags.

Press Return to add a tag

 

Rename Tag

Right Click Tag on the left side of Tags list.

Select Rename.

 

You can Rename to an Exist tag to Merge tag.

 

Delete Tag

Right Click Tag on the left side of Tags list.

Select Delete.

 

Add or Delete Tag to multi-items

In Note list, multi-select the items, Drag them and Drop to the Tag node, select Add or Delete in popup menu.
